List of hospitals in England and Wales

This list gives the names of all hospitals in England and Wales that are recorded in the Database, arranged in alphabetical order, followed by details of the diocese and county in which the hospital lay. To go to the Database record for the hospital, click on its name.

These lists are compiled from the information about appointments of chaplains, wardens, etc, which has been extracted from various sources in the course of the construction of the Database. As further material is processed, additions and corrections are regularly made to this list.
